Firestick.Lab

About Firestick Lab

A small, independent review site. We test IPTV services the way a normal person actually uses them — on a Fire TV Stick, in the evening, on a normal home connection.

Who runs this

Firestick Lab is written by a couple of people who have spent far too many evenings debugging buffering circles. We're not affiliated with any provider. We buy every subscription we review with our own money, and we turn down affiliate terms that would require a specific ranking.

How we test

Every provider is run for a full week on a Fire TV Stick 4K over a 100 Mbps connection. We measure time-to-play on live channels, count buffering incidents during peak evening hours, check whether the promised channels actually tune in, and time how long support takes to reply. A service passes only if it survives the week without excuses.

What we won't do

We don't publish rankings for pay, we don't run "reviews" of services we haven't opened, and we won't tell you a provider is legal just because their sales page says so. Read our explainer on legality for the honest version.
